Opt-e-scrip Offers the Following Standard PBM Services · Electronic Claims Processing—over 1 billion prescriptions are processed annually on the systems we use · Rebate Administration—our systems capture all rebates and fees of any kind in order to pass them through to the client at 100% · Retail Pharmacy Network—we have a network of over 45,000 pharmacies and will work with clients to add additional pharmacies, if requested · Mail Order Pharmacy—we have a mail order pharmacy authorized to dispense to all 50 states · Toll-free Call Center—we have one call center for both informational and pharmacy calls that is available 7 days a week · Drug-drug Interaction Reviews—Prior to dispensing, our systems perform a Drug Utilization Review to check for eligibility and potential interactions with other drugs the patient may be taking · Website—Employees can go on-line to find out about their drug benefit and to access their medication history and drug information · As Well as the Following Services Not Found at Any Other PBM or TPA · Personalized Medicine Tests (“PMT”) for Chronic Care Drugs—only Opt-e-scrip offers tests for optimizing drug effectiveness and minimizing side effects.  The American Medical Association (“AMA”) has published articles stating that these types of tests are the best way for an MD to make a treatment decision.  The AMA has granted only to Opt-e-scrip a CPT Code (billing code) for our tests. · Open and Personalized Formulary—Our Formulary design is initially “open” so that your employee and their MD have the most opportunities to find the best performing drug without bias.  During this open phase we require the use of PMTs, where available, to insure your employees are getting the best therapy.  When an employee takes a PMT, their drug response data is entered into a permanent record.  These response data are then used to create a Personalized Formulary to insure the better drug is re-prescribed.  · Safety Monitoring—Through our PMTs, Opt-e-scrip provides prospective safety monitoring for chronic care drugs.  Our tests can identify unacceptable adverse events for an individual patient long before the FDA issues a public health warning.  Timely and verbal notification procedures are instituted should our safety monitoring procedures identify serious adverse events.
